Our Story
Hello, my name is Mitch Headline, and I am the proud owner of Cannon Computers in Cannon Falls, MN. Technology has always been a passion of mine. From spending countless hours as a kid tinkering with computers and gaming consoles to building a career around it, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful and inspiring this world can be. Now, I’m excited to take that passion a step further and share it with the youth in my community.
I’ve been developing an idea to create something truly meaningful: a welcoming, all-inclusive youth center where kids and teens can gather in a safe, supportive environment to connect, learn, and play. My vision is to open a multipurpose gaming and learning center right in the heart of Cannon Falls—a place where young people feel comfortable being themselves, building friendships, and exploring their interests.
This space will offer a wide variety of activities, including modern computer and console gaming—Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo—as well as retro systems that bring a sense of nostalgia and fun. Beyond video games, we’ll provide board games, puzzles, comic books, and other interactive activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and social connection.
But this center is about more than just entertainment. At its core, it will be a place for growth, learning, and opportunity. I want to give youth access to technology in a hands-on, engaging way—helping them build confidence, develop new skills, and discover potential passions that could shape their future. Whether it’s learning basic computer skills, exploring digital creativity, or simply having a safe place to spend time after school, this space will be designed with their needs in mind.
To further build a sense of community, I plan to host supervised events like old-school LAN party lock-ins, tournaments, and themed activity nights. These events will give youth a chance to form friendships, collaborate, and create positive, lasting memories in a structured and encouraging environment.
This project is still in its early stages, but the mission is clear: to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where youth in Cannon Falls can belong, grow, and thrive through technology, play, and connection.
